Event Calendar always defaults to LIST views

Hi, I want the calendar default to to display Month. I’ve selected the default as MONTH in the settings but it keeps showing the list as default on the page. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to learn of the difficulties.

I’d be more than happy to assist you here; however, upon careful investigation, it looks like the calendar being shown on the https://www.slfa.co.za/ns-league-2/ page is displayed using a third-party plugin.

The month view (being the default view) seems to be working as it should on the main calendar page, https://www.slfa.co.za/events.

Hi @tristan083, thank you for your feedback. I wasn’t aware that the Event Calendar would have issues if displayed using Elementor’s addon Event Calendar option. I thought is was one and the same as all the events were being displayed. If I could as then, how would I get the calendar to display on the https://www.slfa.co.za/ns-league-2/ page without having to go to the https://www.slfa.co.za/events page, which I don’t display on the site at all?

Hi @eddiepelser

If you want to show the calendar like what is shown from this page into this page, then you’ll need to use a Native Elementor widget which is only available in the Events Calendar PRO version.

If you would like to use this page as your main calendar, then you can try adding a redirect from https://www.slfa.co.za/events page to https://www.slfa.co.za/ns-league-2/ page.
