The notification emails that I receive display as a continuous line of text after updating to 5.7.3, all line breaks between mail-tags are missing. The message body now displays like this: From: [Name] <[EmailAddress]>Email: [EmailAddress]Phone:[PhoneNumber]Company: [CompanyName]How did you find us: [Other]Message: [your-message]
All line breaks I manually put in are ignored in the notification, I also have “Use HTML content type” checked.
I’m getting the same issue. it seems as if all the line breaks are missing. When the user fills out the form, he receives the emails in perfect order. But on the website owner’s end, we receive the email in 1 continuous line as if all the line breaks are missing.
this is how the email looks from our end.
From: xxxx Subject: Quotation For PRODUCT Contact Details: Name: xxx Email: xxxx@gmail.com Phone: 87654321 Dimension: A: 123 cm B: 234 cm C1 23 cm C2: 45 cm Message: tst3 Your quote is ready and available! I have exactly the same problem. After I update to 5.7.3 the line breaks in the mail notifications are gone. When I downgrade to 5.7.2 the line breaks are back. I tested it with multiple websites.
I do see in the second mail that only the line breaks are gone after a mail tag (for example: [your-name]). Line breaks are present in normal sentences.

Same problem her. The two reply mails both seems to strip any attempt to add a linefeed if you tick off “HTML”. Also if you use “<br>”. I haven’t tested with block elements like <div> og <p>.
I had to rewrite and reformat all my contact forms to plain text. So now I’m prepared for the next bug. 🙂
(BTW: Plain text mails used to honour <b> and <i> which was really handy. What happened to that?)

What email settings do you have in the Mail tab panel?
To protect personal data, hiding email addresses in the settings or replacing them with dummy addresses is strongly advised. You can also include screenshots.
