Multiple Issues with your plugin
-
Not sure where to start. I have a multisite configuration (atlantishosting.net), and no matter what, jetpack won’t connect. On the main site, we receive an an error (this is gong to be real helpful for you, here’s the error “An error occurred. Please try again.”) and it wont connect on the main site. Can’t inset any configuration changes whatsoever, it just has a button that says “Setup Jetpack” as if it’s that easy.
Moving onto our sites (here’s one, brandyourlifeprintworks.com), we use domain mapping, and forget about any site on the network connecting to jetpack using the FQDN, it doesn’t work. We receive this error which leads us to believe you have archived the network domain name and not the FQDN (why?)
Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_request
Error Message: The URL stored by the Jetpack servers does not match your site. Please try disabling the Jetpack plugin, re-enable it, then connect again.I tried to disable and re-enable the plugin which did not work. The only way I was able to connect jetpack was having it activated at the site level rather than the network level, AND we used the network domain name (not the FQDN). This method of connecting will not work. I have read the documentation on your site with no successful resolution.
