Conflict with Tooltips plugin

    Wanted to give the developer and users a heads up that there was a conflict between this WP Code plugin and Tooltips: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-tooltips/

    It appears the WP Code plugin blocked essential jquery in the Tooltips plugin, breaking tooltips functionality. I had not even created any code snippets yet. As long as the WP Code plugin was active, the conflict remained.

    Tooltips is more important to me, so I have disabled the WP Code plugin to solve the issue.

    I’d be happy to provide more info if the developer would like to troubleshoot.

    Hi @freshpromo,

    I tested the Tooltips plugin you mentioned with the WPCode plugin on a fresh install and I can’t see any conflict between the two.
    WPCode, by default, doesn’t make any changes to the frontend of the website so it should not interfere with the Tooltips JavaScript in any way.

    Do you have a staging site where you can try disabling other plugins except Tooltips and WPCode to check if maybe there’s a third plugin or theme involved in the conflict you are encountering?
