Image Gallery Slideshow

    Hello,
    I have sites that are still using the Classic Editor and in the past I was able to add a gallery to a post and choose the Type Slideshow (thinking this option came from Jetpack). This added type=slideshow to the shortcode. These galleries are no longer working and I’m not seeing the type drop-down when editing the gallery.

    Is this something that has been dropped in the new version of Jetpack? I’m only finding that the Carousel/Slideshow block is the only way to add a slideshow using Jetpack. Is there a way to utilize this with the classic editor?

    Hi there

    If the Slideshow option is missing, go to Jetpack → Settings → Writing and make sure the Compose using shortcodes to embed media from popular sites option is enabled.
