Yes, you can do this with our plugin.
You need to open the Feed Settings drawer, and there you will get the option to disable the product variation and enable the variable parent products.
For example, https://prnt.sc/K5wGOAPlTxg9
Disable the “Include All Variable Products Variations” to exclude any variations.
Enable the “Include Variable Parent Product (No Variations)” to include the variable parent products.
However, I should let you know that Google doesn’t accept variable parent products, so if you want to sell on Google, you should exclude the variable parent products.

I gave it a try but now google merchant is telling me that there’s a formatting error and it won’t load the file. When I try to view the XML file this is what I get, see below.
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I tried to troubleshoot by clearing the cache and creating a new feed but the same issue occurs
