EAN not showing on XML file
-
Hi,
I installed CTX Feed plugin for missing GTIN issue in Google merchant account. I want to use EAN as GTIN. And EAN is already there for each product, but after selecting the Google attribute
GTINand value [_wpm_gtin_code] and generating feed, in the xml file, I see<g:gtin> <![CDATA[ 2000000238753 ]]> </g:gtin>Here, i think it is showing product id 238753 and The actual EAN number of my selected product here is 6925281981654.
I saw your video on how to add gtin, ean, mpn etc but I am looking for a way which can take the EAN number from default EAN field
_wpm_gtin_codeinstead of adding new custom field by CTX feed for EAN, as I have to enter those EAN values in 1000s of products manually. Please see screenshot and let me know how I can get EAN number on the GTIN attritube for Google merchant center.

Hello @noumanharman
Thanks for reaching us.
It’s not an issue if you are not using the custom field by CTX. You can use any third-party plugin to create and populate a custom field. But, if you are not getting the right value, then it must be the wrong custom field meta you selected while configuring the feed. Our plugin doesn’t manipulate a field’s data unless you use any customization.
So, my suggestion would be to edit the feed configuration and look for any other custom field meta that could be the correct field meta or try any that you find relevant and regenerate the feed. Please, follow this screenshot.
NB: Make sure no caching plugin is caching the feed. So, use a private window whenever you are opening a regenerated feed.
Best regards,
Hi Badal,
Thanks for your response, the issue was on caching, I cleared cache and it worked. But then the feed processing got stuck at 10%, I changed batch process limit to 100 and then tried generating feed and the process got stuck at 13%. Then to increase php time limit, i only increased the max_execution_time to 300 in php and still it is being stuck at 13%, but then while trying again, white creating feed for Google Shopping ads, for GTIN in the value I used to select the attribute value under “custom fields and meta”. But I am not able to see the list of that “custom fields and meta” itself in the feed value option, and I see every other option as usual while selecting the value from the dropdown. Can you please tell me where I can find “custom fields and meta”

And should i change any other setting in php to increase PHP time limit?
The screenshot link was broken in the previous reply, here’s another link: https://postimg.cc/qzBS5SkD
Hi,
Tried with increased 300 PHP time limit and decrease batch from 200 to 100 and to even at 50. Still feed progress gets stuck at 10%, after decreasing batch limit to 100 or 50, progress gets stuck at 13%. I have put ##### in place of company name for security reasons. I can send you the complete CTX feed status copy to your email if you can provide. Please see the Status copy from CTX feed plugin and tell me how I can make the feed generation complete.

Please, increases the PHP memory limit and remove shipping information from the feed if you have conditional shipping rules in WooCommerece and try regenerating the feed.
In case you have to remove the shipping attribute from the feed, you would need to add a shipping label to the feed to configure label-based shipping in GMC. To know how to configure label-based shipping, please, follow our documentation on How to Configure Google Merchant Shipping Attribute?
For the GTIN Issue, please, use a screencast video o explain the issue.
Thank you,
Hi Badal,
Thanks for your response, I have figured out the GTIN issue, we are using a plugin for GTIN field already and I was able to find and choose that attribute in CTX feed values dropdown options under custom fields and metas. So that’s sorted out for now. My current issue now is that I am not able to generate feed, I will go through your suggestions and see if it works and I will get back to you.
Have a managed to generate a feed? Please, make sure to update CTX feed to v4.5.4 and try generating a feed.
In case we don’t get any reply to this thread, we will consider and mark this issue as resolved.
Thank you,
