To disable Like/Dislike,
Go to your site >> tools >> Marketing >> Sharing Buttons >> Uncheck the box next to the pages you want the like button to disappear on >> Save changes.
And you can disable emojis with the help of Disable Emojis Plugin.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-emojis/
On my site Dashboard there isn’t any Marketing under tools.
Also I have the disable emoji plugin installed and activated, but emojis are still shown on every where (most importantly for me the builtin emojis under posts). What’s the correct installation/activation way for the plugin?

If you are using Jetpack, you might be getting those likes via the Jetpack plugin.
From the WordPress dashboard, Go to Jetpack >> Setting >> Sharing. Enable the options.
You can also use alternative plugins instead, like Emoji settings. In addition, it gives the option to disable emojis themselves.

You can disable emojis with code if you don’t want to install another plugin. (you can find such codes by searching on Google).
First, backup your site and create a child theme before adding the code. Also, If you are not comfortable doing this, please check with a developer first.
There is a misunderstanding: I’ve installed Jetpack, and it only has the options (under Sharing) to enable those features I’me trying to get rid of, and nothing for disabling them!
