Woocommerce Variation Creation & Editing Slow

    Hi All,

    Does anyone know how to speed up database queries for product variations? My issue is editing or generating variants loads slow. 1:20 or more to create 7 variants on average.

    I tried other support topics to help improve load time but haven’t been successful. So far I’ve tried the following:

    • upgraded web hosting service
    • set up a CDN
    • set up browser caching
    • set up object cache pro
    • optimized database with WP-Optimize
    • scanned for malware
    • cleared customer sessions and expired transients
    • block Bad Bots
    • disable heartbeat

    My WordPress build is a multi-site with 8 small Woocommerce stores within. My Theme is Divi. I would think Woocommerce could handle 8 small stores with 10 to 15 products.

    Could you please see if the problem persists once you have installed the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, which allows you to simulate a clean WordPress session?

    While in troubleshooting mode with the plugin above, all plugins will be disabled, and a default theme will be used, but only for your admin user role until you disable it or log out.

    If you don’t notice the same issues while in troubleshooting mode, it means one of your plugins or a theme is conflicting with your WooCommerce plugin.
