    Hey, how’s it going? 🙂

I need help to resolve an issue. I know that I can check the views of my Web Stories in Google Analytics; however, I would like to know if there is any tool that counts how MANY CLICKS I received on the links inserted in my web stories (in the Page Attachment). Is it possible?

Thanks in advance for your attention.

  • @estherdesales Hello and thank you for your topic. The amount of events tracked for stories has been simplified because the original configuration was too much for users.

Options like UTM parameters, referrers, and customized analytics configurations still allow you to track this kind of engagement if desired.

If you have specifically used story_page_attachment_enter in the past and would like to continue using that event, there is a mini plugin for you to bring it back.

You can download that plugin as a ZIP file and upload it to your WordPress site & activate it there. Just change your GA ID and the story_page_attachment_enter event should continue to work.

There is also an open feature request to add these directly to the new enhanced analytics configuration (called “amp-story-auto-analytics”).

@estherdesales Since we haven’t received any further response, we will mark this topic as resolved. Please reopen your topic if you continue to experience this issue or raise another topic for any new issues. Thanks.
