    How do I remove the “Edit this comment” beneath products in my WP shopping cart and remove the Entries (RSS) and Comments (RSS) links at the bottom of sll the blog pages. Would I have to customize some of the core WP pages? If so, which ones?

  • You can probably just modify the CSS. Find the class for each item and in the CSS, add ‘display: none;’.

    If that doesn’t work you might need to modify some theme files, but not the core.

    Post a link to your site and you might get more specific answers.

    Hmm – here is the blog url – http://www.underthewoodsfaeries/faeries.

    Firefox css shows the class/id to be #footer but as you can see below that div is commented out in the theme package I’m using.
    #footer {
    /*background: #e7e7e7 url(‘images/kubrickfooter.jpg’) no-repeat top; */
    border: none;
    }
    Should I create another #footer id with the display:none code to make this work? This blog is now live and I don’t want to mess it up by experiementing.

    Thanks

    Are you using Firebug with FF? If so, you can play around with the CSS without making changes to the hard-copy.

    The only thing commented out in the sample you showed is the background, not the content. Go ahead and add the display: none; right there.

    Pretty embarrassing that I did not see that as a solution in the first place. Thanks vtxyzzy

    Glad it worked for you.
