    Hello,

I am not sure why but on my staging website, whenever I try to “dismiss” or “not broken”, it pops up an error but it does not say anything. It also does not remove the link from the list then. Not sure whats going on. The plugin is working fine on the live site though.

    Here is a screenshot:

Also on a side note, I hope you guys will fix the jstor, amazon, and doi related links that show up as false positives. I have to manually clear all these links everyday almost. I wrote about this earlier as well and so have others but I don’t think BLC made any fixes for this so far. I hope you guys can fix this issue because it takes too long to do and this has been this way for more than a year now (for me at least).

    Warm regards,

    Hi @hbk747

I hope you’re doing well today!

As for fixing Amazon and other links detection – this isn’t really a matter of any bug but rather specifics of such links. We are aware of that and that it has been raised multiple times and I know it’s taking long time. The plugin itself and, more importantly, it’s “engine” is undergoing major development phase currently with everything being re-factored, actually – pretty much developed from ground up entirely. This takes time, I’m afraid. I’m really sorry for keeping you waiting on these changes/fixes but I believe it’s worth waiting a bit longer.

As for the error that you are getting, it’s difficult to say what may be causing it based only on this screenshot but I suppose there’s some issue with “under the hood” requests.

Could you please try this again but this time open browser’s console/webdeveloper tools while checking it and see if

    – when this error pops out, are there any errors listed in console and if yes, what are they?

    – are any failed admin-ajax requests listed in “network” tab of console and if yes, with what statuses (like e.g. 500, 403 or similar)?

Let us know about those, please.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hello @wpmudev-support8

Patiently waiting for the re-worked plugin. Best of luck! Hope it launches soon.

As for the issue. I created another staging and everything seems to be working fine there as well as on the live website so you can mark this as resolved.

    Thanks
