    Hello,

    I’m setting up WooCommerce and now i have the message “There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.” on Woo homepage.
    I do not have iTheme installed (which seems to be a possible cause in the others support tickets)
    I also have an error message when I go under WooCommerce > Clients : “There was an error getting your stats”. Same error message under all tabs in analytics.

    In my WP dashboard, in the WooCommerce Configuration window (I’m at step 4 of 8) when I want to go to the newt step, it lands me to a blank page with only “Home” on top.

    On the Woo Statut page everything is green.
    All worked fine until I updated all Woo add ons.

    Can you help me ? Thank you

    Hi there,

    I understand you received errors while setting up WooCommerce.

    Since some WooCommerce extensions have been updated, I’d like to suggest some testing.

    First, please try doing the WooCommerce setup using another web browser.

    If this doesn’t work, please try clearing your web browser’s cache before attempting to setup WooCommerce. You can read more here: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache.

    However, if the issue still persists, please try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce. Then, reactivate each plugin one by one while checking to see if any plugin activation affects the WooCommerce setup process. This will help determine if any plugin is causing the errors.

    You can read more about testing for conflicts with WooCommerce here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

    If you don’t want to do this on a live site, you can use a plugin like WP STAGING (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/) to create a staging site to test.

    Also, remember to back up your site (just in case).

    Let me know if you need further help.

    Hello,

    I have tested with chrome, edge and opera. The issue is still there.
    So i tested after cleaning browser’s cache. Same problem.

    I will try to test with all plugins desactivated as soon as possible but it is hard to do so…

    Thank you

    Hi @arashtoo

    Thanks for sharing the details and for trying on different browsers.

    As you mentioned having checked other tickets, you must have noticed that the two errors you mentioned have been encountered due to the association of other tools such as WPML, iThemes, etc in various cases. For your reference:
    * https://kriesi.at/support/topic/there-was-an-error-getting-your-stats/
    * https://wpml.org/forums/topic/woocommerce-home-there-was-an-error-getting-your-inbox-please-try-again/

    * https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-there-was-an-error-getting-your-inbox/

    The best way to determine the conflicting tool is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    I will try to test with all plugins desactivated as soon as possible but it is hard to do so…

    I can understand that it takes time. If you don’t want to run the test on your live production site, you can create a duplicate/staging site. Many hosting providers offer site staging facilities, but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin.

    If nothing comes out of the conflict test, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hello,

    I have desactivate all my plugins. Then reactivated one by one.
    Everything works fine until i activate the plugin “Google Listings and Ads” by WooCommerce Version 1.12.1

    So now I have all my other plugins activated except “Google Listings and Ads” , and it works well … the conflict comes with this plugin.

    Regards

    Hi @arashtoo

    Good to know you were able to single out the gh plugin as the conflicting one.

    You may want to reach out to the plugin’s team and report the issue, and hopefully they might come up with a solution.

    I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved.

    Feel free to create a new thread if you have other questions.

    Cheers
