Hi, I updated the plugin to the latest version 4.1.9.3, but the local language is not displayed in the backend admin area. My local language is zh_CN, but the language of the left menu title item is displayed normally, and all the admin content on the right side is displayed in English.

I tried to reinstall WordPress and the plugin, but the problem still exists. How can I fix it? Thank you very much.

  • Hi @kydtf520,

Just curious if you tried updating the language pack for AIOSEO?

If there’s an available language pack for the language you’ve set on your site under Settings > General then you’ll see an Update Translations under Dashboard > Updates.

If not, you can go to https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/language-packs/ and just above the table click on Projects, then select language packs.

    1. Select the package and download the file.
    2. Unzip the downloaded file
    3. FTP to your server and navigate to the /wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory
    4. Upload the unzipped files to this directory.

Let me know if this helps or if I am missing something.

    Thanks!

    Hey @kydtf520,

I was not able to reproduce this myself but we are experiencing some other, possibly related i18n issues currently. I believe that the language packs that translate.wordpress.org is generating are incorrect. I’ve reached out to the WordPress polyglots team and will follow up.

The same problem for the Russian language
