Hi Tajesh,
Firstly, thank you for your kind words! It’s great to hear your positive feedback on the plugin.
In relation to the data error in Analytics error which you’re encountering certainly we’d be happy to assist. As there can be a few different data errors users may encounter please share the following and we’d be happy to provide some suggestions to ensure you are able to connect your site to your preferred Google Analytics property.
- Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
- Can you confirm that the full error you’re encountering (ie. “Data error in Analytics: User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile)”?
- When you mention you deleted the previously Analytics property and created a new one, did you create this new one using Site Kit, or did you create this property from analytics.google.com? If you created it from analytics.google.com please confirm you were logged in using the same Google account which you used to setup Site Kit.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
Dear James,
Hello, I was currently busy with family wedding for some time, due to which I was not able to reply to you. Hope you understand my situation in family wedding…ππ
I will tell you the problem in analytics in detail with step by step –
1. I first activated your plugin by installing it.
2. After installing analytics & search console and adsense work completed by your
plugin.
3. I found that the plugin was not able to track my website traffic in a better way,
the plugin showing less user visit and real time traffic also completely, Wasn’t
telling right.
4. I analyzed this thing for about a week.
5. After which I got a bit upset, because the traffic was still not showing exactly
right. finally i Decided to delete the analytics property of my website at
https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/. after i delete
Probably created new property from https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/.
6. Since the plugin was still showing as it is, I deleted the plugin and installed it
again (with the hope that everything is fine now) And even thinking that the plugin
will show the right traffic after creating/detecting the new property).
7. After which I get “Data Error in Analytics” on Dashboard – User does not have
sufficient permissions for this profile. to show error of Put. (If option
to upload an image in your Google Form, I will definitely upload a screenshot.I am able to remember only this much, I have given some information in your google form, if possible, you can check it once. And definitely try to solve my problem. and my advice - plugin needs some more functions...for better user experience Hopefully Thank youHi there @tej111,
Not a problem in the delay whatsoever. I hope you enjoyed the time away with family.
In relation to the error which you’re encountering many thanks for providing these additional insights, very useful indeed. We have some documentation on the plugin website in relation to the “User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile” error, with some troubleshooting suggestions and further information.
In your case, the reason this error may have remained after you deleted the plugin is because deleting and reinstalling the plugin results in all previous connections remaining. For that reason have you tried disconnecting your Google account from Site Kit, before connecting once more? This will allow you to re-connect with a Google account which has access to that property.
Alternatively you can disconnect the Google Analytics module in order to connect once more, from a different Google account (Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit > Disconnect Analytics from Site Kit).
Let me know how you get on with the above, or inform me if you have any questions.
I found that the plugin was not able to track my website traffic in a better way,
the plugin showing less user visit and real time traffic also completely, Wasnβt
telling right. The plugin pulls the information from users Google Analytics account. The information shown within the Site Kit dashboard should match the same respective report over on analytics.google.com. Once we ensure your Google Analytics is connected from this support topic we can work from another if you wish, to ensure all works as expected.
and my advice – plugin needs some more functions…for better user experience
Thanks for the feedback. We’re always working on ways to improve both the user experience and the documentation and guidance we provide.
Hello Devloper,
Dear, can you explain me step by step ? Because I feel some difficulty in understanding.
Thankyou.
Hi there @tej111,
No problem at all. Firstly I’ve created a video demo on how to disconnect your Google account the plugin. See below:
https://recordit.co/oOMv3ea7xMAlong with the video demo the steps involved are as follows:
1. Click on your Google account profile icon on the top right of any Site Kit dashboard
2. Click on the “Disconnect” option
3. After you become disconnected click on the “Sign in with Google” button to setup the plugin once more.Let me know how you get on with the above. We also have instructions for the above on the plugin website.
Looking forward to your response!

Hopefully Thankyou.
Hi @tej111,
Sorry to hear that. Based on the screenshot you kindly shared this is a different error to the “User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile” error previously reported. That’s not a problem however, I’m sure we can successfully get the Analytics module connected successfully.
In order to do so, and connected Analytics to a property why your connected Google account has access to you can disconnected the module and connect once more. The steps involved are as follows:
- Navigate to Site Kit > Settings
- Click on the Analytics tab and then “Edit”
- Click on “Disconnect Analytics from Site Kit”
- After doing so connect the Analytics module once more
I’ve created a video of the process which you’ll find here (or see below gif).

Let me know how you get on with the above. Or inform me if you have any questions.
Hi @tej111,
Did you manage to get Analytics successfully connected? If not let me know if you need any assistance with the above steps.
Hello Dear James,
I am tried and all the process you mentioned…….but still my problem not solved……please help me…..my earning day by day decrease because analytics not showing traffic …..As I think you need to update the plugin so that this problem will not happen again to anyone else and And if possible, implement all these processes in the plugin so that the data / information problem can be rectified by fetching it automatically….. If you want, for this, you include access permissions while connecting to the user’s email id.
If I am wrong or I am getting wrong of my word then please excuse me for this I have told all the things according to my user experience.
I given up all my hopes now. If you want, I can give you access to my WordPress so that you can pinpoint the problem more accurately.
Thanks for your every efforts and also for your continuing response…π€π€π€
Hi @tej111,
Sorry to hear you’re unable to connect Analytics successfully, and as you’re using Site Kit to insert your Analytics snippet lets try a plugin reset, which will revert your site to it’s original state on the Site Kit service. In order to do so please navigate to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit.
After doing so please attempt Site Kit setup once more.
If I am wrong or I am getting wrong of my word then please excuse me for this I have told all the things according to my user experience.
You didn’t do anything wrong. I suspect a change to your site, or your user account may have contributed to the error you’re now encountering, which differs to the original error.
I given up all my hopes now. If you want, I can give you access to my WordPress so that you can pinpoint the problem more accurately.
Sorry to hear that. But please do try a plugin reset and inform me how it goes. We’re unable to login to users sites, as per WordPress support forum guidelines, but let me know if you need help performing a reset.
Thanks for your every efforts and also for your continuing responseβ¦π€π€π€
No problem, happy to help! I’m sure we can get you connected successfully. Have a great weekend, and let me know how a plugin reset goes for you.
Hi there @tej111,
Just following up with you to check whether you’ve had the opportunity to perform a plugin reset? If so let me know how it went, or whether you need more assistance on this,
Hi James…
i tried everything and so many times..but still my problem not solved.
Hi @tej111,
Sorry to hear that. While I appreciate you’ve performed many troubleshooting steps, can you confirm that you did try a plugin reset? If you perform a plugin reset Site Kit will remove the Site Kit place Analytics snippet, which should allow you to setup the plugin once more. If you didn’t attempt a reset at this point you’ll find the steps to perform a reset here.
If you did already try a plugin reset let me know the error you’re now seeing within your Site Kit dashboard. As the initial error you reported differs from the last screenshot you provided a reset should ensure you no longer see the message as per your screenshot. If we find anything unusual I can check this with the team.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
Hello Dear James…..
Hope you are well good….you are very late…but ultimately solved my problem…i say you so many times plugin needs more updates and more actions…but you are awesome. welldone…..but before in i am problem facing phase…i fill so bad…you say evry time retry retry for correct troubleshooting. And which is also true for viewing angle of developer…But doing the same thing many times, sometimes my mind used to get spoiled…πππ..Even after many efforts by both of us, the plugin was not working properly…sometimes I even cursed you in my mind…I’m a little ashamed to tell you but I tell the truth.
