    Hi guys,
Here we have a small amateur league with 11 teams and 5 games/events each weekend, and the season covers 22 weekends.
I would appreciate some help with the following:

Q1. Is it possible to break the season into 22 rounds (games held on weekends)?
Q2. Related to Q1, is it possible to show, ie the best shooter per round?
Q3. Is it possible to show the best shooter for each event via shortcode?
Q4. When I try to use the shortcodes in the built in text editor (Classic editor) there is no way to save the selected shortcode, there is no visiblw “save” or “update” bottun – could this be the free version limitation?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out.

It’s always better to open separate topics for each of your questions.

But let me go over each of your points:

Q3: Unfortunately no, we don’t have this option at the moment.

Q4: I’m not sure if I get this one. Are you not able to add the shortcode to the page? I did see a description of this issue before, but it was related to a conflict.

What happens when you disable the other plugins?

    Thanks!

    Hi Roch,

    Thank you for the reply.
OK, is there any other way to extract the best player (by custom criteria) out of the single match?

Q4 – It happens even on a “blank” installation with a Rookie theme without other plugins. I have tested that separately.
Is there any incorrect server setting that could cause this?

FYI, tested with WP 5.9.1 & 5.9.2 – could that be the problem? I haven’t tested it with previous versions.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

We don’t have an option for that. Depending on how you are doing it, you can create a player list with a specific date range (for example just the date when that game happened) and for a specific team.

This would require a bit of manual work (manually creating the list or creating a very specific shortcode), but maybe it can get you the information you want.

Re: Q4, here it works fine:

I’m running WP 5.9.2 in this particular instance.

I’m not sure why you don’t get the option to insert the shortcode in a page.

Are you using the classic editor?

    Thanks!

BTW, can you send us a screenshot of that issue? Maybe it’s easier to understand if we can see what you have right now.

    Hi Roch,
    Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I am using the Classic Editor, and now I am working on the Alchemist theme with some customized WPBakery templates that do help to get along with other stuff.
I’m not much into advanced coding, so I will try to solve that another way.
Regarding the shortcodes issue, here is the screenshot: https://strogo.hr/sp_no_shortcode.jpg
As you can see, no buttons.
It would help to get this working.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

In your screenshot you are using a page builder. Please disable all plugins (but SportsPress and the classic editor) and switch to a default theme (Rookie or Twenty Twenty). Let us know how it works for you after that.

    Thanks!
