Indeed, this plugin doesn’t work well anymore.
Matomo (another counter) didn’t work on my website, unfortunately.
Is there anyone who knows or has a good and simple alternative counter or hit counter or visitor counter (invisible in the front site)? Please let me know.

At this moment, I have deleted the WP Statistics plugin; I really loved it.
I assume it started to work for about 20% after one had installed WP Rocket Cache. So it clashes with this Cache plugin, I guess?
When you say, they should work well together, I would like to give it a try again. Or perhaps it must be set (settings) in a special way.
AWStats via my host website shows around 14,000 hits per day (plus 3,000 bots or Google bots), but I only see hits, no countries, for example.
