Instagram Widget Image Size (re: PageSpeed Rating)

According to Google’s PageSpeed Insights, the site is doing ok.

One particular exception is that, due to the use of JetPack’s Instagram widget, “Properly size images” is red-flagged with a >6s estimated savings on mobile front. And the images belong to the Instagram widget.

(“Serve images in next-gen formats” is next with ~3s saving but that’s another topic)

Any ideas/suggestions whereas I can improve the site speed?
