Hey there, @talobv 👋
Bummer! That sounds all kinds of scary.
Behind the scenes we take some fairy hefty measures to keep things safe and secure — more than other form plugins, actually.
We’d love to dive in and get any issues sorted out. To help us, can you please let us know the exact steps you followed? What version of Happyforms are you using? What sort of virus do you think was allowed? How are you verifying it’s a virus? Are you using a virus scanning plugin? What did this virus do?
It might be just a case of the virus plugin triggering a false reading.
Please keep us posted! We want to help you get this fixed up right away.

Hey again, @talobv 👋
We did a deep dive into our plugin security yesterday. We reviewed our code and we ran our free plugin through a bunch of malware scans. We didn’t find anything — no weak spots, no warnings, no vulnerabilities.
We’d still like to help you out. Would you please let us know a bit more?
Also, as an indie team, I’d greatly appreciate if you considered updating your review or removing your review and continuing this conversation over in our free support form.
We try so hard to offer the best free plugin we can along with free, friendly, down-to-earth support. This one-star review is a real setback for us.
Let us know! As I said, we want to help out.
