It looks like someone else had a similar issue and solved it by changing it to a fixed rate as opposed to a percentage, but I need it to be a percentage: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/double-paypal-transaction-fee/
This person also has the same thing, they said to remove the title of the fee: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fee-added-twice-when-title-is-added/
I did that and it worked, it would be nice to include a title but I guess that isn’t possible?

We can surely fix the issue in the next release if we are able to replicate the issue at our end. Can you tell me which version of WooCommerce and WordPress and PHP running on your site? Also, please confirm – are you using “WooCommerce Square” plugin for credit card payment gateway?

Thank you for pointing out this. I’ll have a look at this with an Avada theme.
I have the same issue. Using Avada Theme.
The funny thing is, payment fee repeats twice if it’s a simple product.
If it’s a subscription product(variable), fee only appears once and there is an PHP error message on top.
