Remove Meta Title, Descriptions from certain custom post types

Ok, here’s what I need.

I have a custom plug in, that generates urls and results for automotive engine and transmissions.

We have all the meta data in the templates, and want to use that if possible.

I want to keep the AIO SEO settings on everything on my website except on /engine and /transmission posts.

Is there a function to hide AIO SEO pertaining to these post types?

@usedpartus You can use this filter hook – https://aioseo.com/docs/aioseo_disable/

Example code snippet:


add_filter( 'aioseo_disable', 'aioseo_disable_for_cpts' );

function aioseo_disable_for_cpts( $disabled ) {
   if ( is_singular( 'engine' ) || is_singular( 'transmission' ) ) {
      return true;
   }
   return false;
}

Does that make sense?
