As you can see in Google Sitemaps, it is a requirement to large sites to break the file in smaller lists.
Jetpack shows the list following these rules. You can know more about Sitemaps at https://www.sitemaps.org.

well to me it seems this issue is not about breaking down a file to smaller lists.
it is just a small sitemap list with only six articles on it to go.

Sorry for the confusion here.
News sitemaps are specific to Google News and include only posts published in the last 48 hours. I went to your site and found there are currently five posts that are published in the last 48 hours, so those five posts are showing in your /news-sitemap.xml URL; previously, it was six. As time will go and if you don’t publish any new posts, the number of posts will continue to decrease in /news-sitemap.xml URL because of 48 hours condition.
