“?” in URL parameter

    I’m having an issue with the new version of Google Tag Manager for WordPress Version 1.13.1? When the plugin is active on my site it is appending a “?” in all of my URL parameters.
    Just an example:
    https://mysitename.com/?

    Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
