Photos missing on some pages

    I recently did a backup before updating my plugins and the theme of my website. Except now I notice that I am missing certain photos from the first seven pages. Anything uploaded before that is completely fine, but the featured photos do not show up on the first seven pages and when clicking on a posting from any of the seven pages, the photos within show a broken photo logo in place of the actual photo. I am having trouble viewing any photos as well in the media grid on the dashboard side of things. My media library just looks like a grid of gray squares, yet if I click on certain ones, the image loads.

    To make this all the more confusing, the photos still show up in the media slider at the top of the pages. Anyone else have anything like this happen to them?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
    It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
    On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
