Too many categories, need them organized

Greetings,

I’m running over 50 categories right now and I’m using the hierarchy system however it’s still not organized enough. Is is possible to make the categories expandable? as have the Parents only showing then expand them to show the children.

In any situation any help on how I can make it easier to go through the categories or organize them better is appreciated.
