Shortcode doesn’t work in the notificatin bar

    Hello,
    I want to add a shortcode in the notification bar from “Countdown & Clock” plugin:

    [ycd_countdown id=14372]

    I enable the option [Processes shortcodes in message text.]
    But in the notification bar I see:

    — [ycd_countdown id=14372] TEST message —

    What’s the problem?

    Hello,

    Can you please make sure that the shortcode is spelled correctly?

    This could also happen if the shortcode is getting registered after the notification bar call. Notification bar uses the ‘wp_body_open’ hook. So the shortcode has to be registered before that. Can you check with the “Countdown & Clock” support?
