I don’t want the plugin to be displayed on “wp-admin”, what should I do?

Notification bar doesn’t display on the wp-admin pages, except on the notification bar settings page. On the settings page it acts as a preview so that you can see the changes you make.

How do I stop the bar from displaying for logged in users?

The new version(1.3) allows you to filter the bar based on user roles. In this case you need to select the “Guest users” option.

Benefit depends on your theme’s nabber features

This is actually a really nice plugin; the result looks good and it’s very flexible. For me, it didn’t work with the theme that needed a topbar; the theme changes the size of the top navigation based on scroll position, and the plugin’s bar obscured the navigation buttons when it shrank. So if you have a variable hight navigation bar, this may not look good. If your top bar doesn’t resize dynamically, it’s great.

    NIfty Little Plug-in

Nifty little plug-in. Tried another popular one, however, it hovered in front of my side shopping cart.

This plug-in provides just the right amount of formatting and works as designed.

    Thanks for creating this!

    Breaks AJAX

    Very poorly coded.

No filters, unless you mean the filter() function in the plugin that contains no filters.

Worse of all it injects its bar code directly into ajax responses, no way to stop it as there is no checks for DOING_AJAX and of course it provides no filters to override.

If you are using a plugin that uses ajax in any way, like a page builder for example, run away.
