    Hello,

Our Jetpack account was disconnected on our WordPress site today after upgrading the Jetpack plugin. It asked me to reconnect again but doing that lost all our email followers/blog subscribers and stats. How can I correct this and recover the followers?

    Hey @akruczek,

Apologies for the delay in following up with you on this. We’re working through a bit of a backlog.

I was able to find your historical stats. Looks like your original Jetpack connection was to a staging URL. I was able to merge them into your new Jetpack connection.

I also found your followers and subscribers, and I migrated those over as well.

Let us know when you need us!

Thanks! Yeah, i don’t know how it linked our original site to our staging website. Normally, it detects that and prompts to disable when our staging site refreshes. I don’t know why that happened in this case. But all looks good now.

This exact same problem occurred again and all of our data was lost. It somehow thinks our primary Jetpack connection is our development website and not our primary domain.
