Sure we’d be happy to assist in ensuring your AdSense code snippets are removed. Firstly you don’t need to uninstall Site Kit to remove the Site Kit placed AdSense code snippet. You can simply disconnect the Site Kit module or toggle off the option to allow Site Kit insert your AdSense code code.
In relation to your ads.txt file while we don’t provide support for this if you’re comfortable checking yourself you’ll find this file located in your root website directory, via your hosting control panel or via FTP. You may not even have an ads.txt file present, many users don’t, and Site Kit doesn’t insert ads.txt on users sites. You can check for an ads.txt file by accessing your site via mysite.com/ads.txt (replacing mysite.com with your own domain)
Providing you only used Site Kit to insert your AdSense code then all AdSense references will be removed from your site. This includes the code between the head which you were referring to.
The last thing I want is to get the second AdSense account seen as a duplicate or not activated because the site is seen associated with the old AdSense account.
Unfortunately you’ll need to contact the AdSense Help Center for assistance with this. With only one AdSense account permitted per user it may just be a cause of closing the other (non Site Kit connected site) and informing the AdSense team.
