Support for Amazon photo albums?

    I may be migrating my photos to Amazon’s photo storage and am hoping Photonic will support with similar functionality. Is there currently, or are you planning to add support for this?

    No, I have no plans for this. The problem with Google and Amazon is that their services are geared towards generic files, and their offerings specifically for photos are very meagre. This means that unlike a Flickr or SmugMug, the APIs for Google and Amazon are going to be missing several core features.

    I have been paying the price for this – the number of hours I spend supporting Google Photos issues is far more than all the other providers combined (though Flickr and SmugMug have arguably a greater usage share).

    Unless Amazon’s API and offerings are good, I don’t plan to add support for it.
