    Hi πŸ™‚

    I have a prblem!

Some of my PayPal payments are marked as “On Hold”, while others have gone through.
The ones on hold have this message: “Validation error: PayPal IPN response from a different email address ([REDACTED]@hotmail.co.uk). Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.

Now I’ve made sure that the email is correct and I have also entered the PayPal Identity Token.

My question is, now that I have updated these settings, will the payments change from being “on hold” and find their way to my PayPal account, or to I need to ask the customer to pay again? Or do I change the status of the sale to “Payment Pending” and then the funds will come through automatically, or what?

    Thanks πŸ™‚

    Hi there πŸ‘‹

As you have already corrected the email address, now you shave to manually change the order status from On Hold to Processing or to Completed because they will not move automatically.

Also, please kindly note that if the only thing you had wrong was the email address, then the money should be in your account.

    I hope that helps. πŸ™‚

    I hadn’t entered the PayPal Token πŸ™

If I now manually change to “processing”, will the payment come through automatically after that?

All OK – no need to answer – all sorted πŸ™‚
