To verify site ownership, it’s giving me this error:

The necessary verification token could not be found on your site. This may be related to your site using a page caching plugin. Please flush your home page cache and then try again.

I’m setting up the plugin in a staging environment. Also, I’ve turned off all firewall plugins and caching settings that I know of. I do have DNS pointed to Cloudflare though if that makes any difference.

Sorry to hear you’ve been unable to setup Site Kit. When you mention you’re setting up Site Kit on a staging environment can you confirm whether you’re looking to view traffic from a live site or are you looking to install and test out Site Kit specifically on this staging site?

If you’re looking to view data from your live site on your staging site we have steps on the plugins website. You don’t start the setup process until you’ve configured the help plugin.

Let me know of the above anyway and I’d be happy to assist.

@contct As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
