Hi @lyntreeio,
Can you explain in more detail what you mean by “there is a delay between receiving and then pushing these to this application”? Where in the flow are you encountering a delay? Which application are you referring to?
This forum is more about the WordPress plugin itself, rather than the Facebook Messenger infra. But I can certainly try and assist and point you in the right direction if possible.
Thanks,

Hi Facebook,
Yes, so there seems to be a lag of delay and I am aware of this as I have been using it for the last few months.
So when a user sends a message through the plugin on the website, the notification will come through to the phone (sometimes you can see the message), sometimes it won’t show for a minute or to (despite you’ve seen the notification but the message doesn’t load). (even refreshing / clearing browser) doesn’t help either.
Then when you try to access it on facebook.com the business suite, there is also a delay ‘getting that message’ when you know it’s already hit your phone but not that first if that makes sense. (eventually, the message will show in the browser after 4-5 mins) but it’s not as ‘instant / real time’ as you make it ).
If Facebook could please run the simulation on your end, with a real mobile phone hooked up to a website and a business page that would be brilliant using the Facebook Business Suite.
I hope this explains more, I would try to record it but it is awkward between the screen and the device to do this.
Hi @lyntreeio,
I’ve tried recreating the scenario you described (sending messages via Chat plugin, and retrieving them in Facebook Business Suite), however the messages appear instantly in the Inbox in all my tests. We don’t see any indication of latency up to several minutes.
Perhaps this could be related to your network speed?
Sorry I wasn’t able to be of more help.
