    Hi,

This issue normally occurs when the host is preventing something from being installed/added/executed.

There’s also a known issue of permalinks causing this issue.

Another possible reason could be the CDN blocking your installation.

These things are outside of the plugin’s control. Consider contacting your webhost or CDN service provider regarding the issue.

    Hallo
thank you for you answer. i am not an IT person, what does mean CDN service provider?

permalinks i changed from -day and name – to – post name –
but then i had more problems.

can i change the issue at my provider by my own? how to do it?

    thanks
    best regards

You don’t have to worry about this if your site is not using one. πŸ™‚

If simple settings within the WordPress Dashboard doesn’t work, you may have to ask your webhost for assistance as the issue may be on their end. Doing this yourself may cause more issues if you’re not sure about what you’re editing. πŸ™‚

    It’s quite tricky to tell.

When plugins have issues, the usual debugging response is:

a.) Check if WordPress version, theme version and the plugin in question is up-to-date. If the issue stops occurring after update then perhaps it was a known issue that is addressed with the update.

b.) Try disabling all plugins except WPSP to check if the issue still occurs. If it stops occurring, then there may be a plugin conflict.

c.) Also, try changing to a default WordPress theme. If the issue stops occurring, perhaps the theme has conflict with the plugin.

d.) Try to replicate it on another site w/ another server if it can be replicated. If the issue can be replicated, then its certainly possible that its a plugin bug. If it can’t be replicated, then perhaps is an isolated case. A site server specific issue.

I’ve tried replicating the issue on an updated WP and WPSP but I didn’t encounter this issue at all.

That said, the issue is most likely an isolated case unique to your site.

You can try doing a.), b.) and c.) first and see if it gets sorted out. If it doesn’t, ask the your site’s hosting service provider for assistance.

ok, thank you for your patience, i’ll try it.
    or
do you know whether with installation of “WP show post” PRO it’s better?

    thanks.

WP Show Posts Pro is definitely better as it adds more features.

so again for the “problem” with host,
now i see it’s a wordpress host side, means host is wordpress.

    http://www.klarschicht.art

    what to do now?
and, if i would take “pro” wouldn’t be there the same problem?
maybe you have some more ideas….:)

    Ah I see.

You can ask WordPress.com to assist you on this one.

Note: WordPress.com is known to be picky with plugins. Most devs steer away from WordPress.com in favor of other webhost because of how restrictive it is with plugins.

If I may suggest, consider transferring your site to another host. You may find it favorable as there are better, cheaper alternatives.
