Reviews

Solid, works, but lacks of one important feature..

Great Plugin, works, easy to understand, almost nothing to complain. The problem is, sometimes I want to display custom post types as static content (without a link to single posts).. Would it be possible to add a checkbox in backend to disable the link from titles and thumbnails?

Edit: Nice support too =)

Halfway works

Trying to insert a WP ShowPosts widget didn’t work at all. There was simply no way to select anything or input any data.
Using it with the shortcodes worked pretty well. Enough features and capabilities that I was generally happy with it. Except for the ugly black Read More boxes, and there seemed to be no way to turn them off.

Trouble with excerpts and like buttons

The first one that I created seemed to work perfectly. It’s a very easy to use plugin and displays the posts nicely. However, the subsequent ones that I have created include all of the like and sharing buttons in the preview box, which I don’t want. I can’t figure out how to make them go away because everything about the setup is exactly the same as the first one I created that isn’t displaying them.

Also, when I first set it up, they were displaying the excerpt that I created. However, I just published a new post, and it’s displaying the post text, not the excerpt. Besides these two issues, I really like the plugin. Hopefully, I can fix these problems, so it works perfectly. Any thoughts on what I might check?
