Brand Missing in xml

Hi guys, first your plugin is great so thank you for that.
I am having an issue where the .xml generated isn’t showing the ‘Brand’ field, I have created a Dynamic Attribute in WordPress and when I map the Brand to the Dynamic Category I created it never shows any of my products as having a brand.

Is there a way to fix this, if you’d like the .xml link messaged to you please let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear your brand field mapping is not working.

Did you check the drop-down on the field mapping page for other attributes that have brand in it and tried those? A usual suspect is “pa brand”.

Hello I tried “pa brand” and still nothing. I know I am selecting the correct attribute as when I change the name of the Attribute to something like “GBrand” it is also changing on the Category Mapping page, it just doesn’t seem to show up when I generate the .xml.

Hi,

I would still suggest you add some custom label field mappings with all possible brand attributes you have. I am pretty sure one of them will return values in your feed.

Like this, just add custom labels and map those to all attributes with brand in it. Then refresh the product feed and see which of the custom labels contains your brand values: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3kgz6v982mubw6v/custom_labels_brand.png?dl=0

Thank you, I’m not sure what happened but today the Dynamic Attribute I initially had is showing the brand? Not sure why or how but all is well. thank you again.

Caching issue maybe?
