Disable emails with WP Amelia plugin

I’m using the WP Amelia plugin. When users book a new event, an automatic WP user is created with the role “Amelia customer”. These users receive two emails to reset their password.
One email I constructed using the Notifications plugin.
Another email that looks like the standard WP email.
I tried blocking the second without success (subject = [website]login details).
Is this to be expected since I’m using another plugin that creates users? Anything I can do to stop this behaviour?
