• Hello there,

I’ve had an issue that has been troubling me for a few months, and every effort I have made to find a solution and rectify has failed.

In Google Webmaster tools, I get this breadcrumb error for basically every page on my site…

“Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified”

This is happening on all posts, pages, tags and archives.

As I mentioned above, I’ve searched and searched for an answer as to what is wrong, and tried all the solutions I could find – including deactivating all plugins and going to the “twenty-nineteen” template etc, however the problem remains!

Any help or pointers on this matter would be graciously appreciated!

    Thank you
    Kevin.

It looks like you have a property="item.name" attribute instead of the required property="name". Changing that seems to fix the issue in the the Structured Data Testing tool. Though, this may get back to the linked current items not playing nice (it’s a Google bug that they refuse to fix).
