Hi,
I managed to get 2 emails from MailChimp Automation. But it takes few minutes for it to be received. Both of the emails are Order Confirmation and Order Invoice.
However, I tried to change the status of the order to Partially Shipped in the WooCommerce. No shipping email confirmation is received.
How to solve this issue? I have no issue with Refund Email and Cancellation Email.
Just Shipping Confirmation Email is missing here.
Hi
I have had issues with MC automation too.
I cannot get any automation emails to work. I have tried a couple, based on a Woocommerce order
Any ideas ?
Joe
The test user is in the MC audience and all the test activity is logged (the purchase) in the users MC profile – including the revenue, etc.
The only thing that did not work was the automation to the test user (triggered by a purchase of a product)
I got the initial Woo order notification but not the MC automated email

Hi @aliferis @execo, thanks for reaching out. In most cases, if order notifications aren’t firing there is some sort of disjoint between the store install and the ‘Connected Site’ in Mailchimp.
To resolve, I’d recommend uninstalling the plugin, delete any automations running in Mailchimp and confirm that the store is removed from the ‘Connected Sites’ area. Next, reinstall the plugin, create new automations, and then run a quick test from your store.
Let us know how it goes. Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you still have problems.
Thanks for your response
on this issue of connected sites – I can see in MC account that store is logging the order and the sales revenue in MC
Does this mean the site is properly connected for the purpose of automations ?
Hey @aliferis yes that’s correct – you should be able to have the automations fire – but you might want to first check to make sure that it’s actually turned ON too. We’ve seen it before where the automation is not active, so please verify that you’ve got it turned ON.
Also for reference – here is the documentation that shows which statuses are triggering emails:
This is the breakdown:
woo status completed (Mailchimp is “paid”):
order invoice, notifying the customer that their order is paid in full
woo status pending (Mailchimp is “pending”):
order confirmation, notifying a customer if their order is unpaid or partially paid
woo status refunded (Mailchimp is “refunded”):
refund confirmation, notifying a customer that their refund has been processed
woo status cancelled (Mailchimp is “cancelled”):
cancellation confirmation, notifying a customer that their order has been cancelled
Hope this helps 🙂
Hi there,
I’m having the same problem on my website/store https://www.acephalafashion.com
The store is synced with Mailchimp and I switched off default Woo notifications.
Moreover, I have run through the solutions described above – removing and re-enabling the plugin.
And yes, the Order Notification automation is turned on and running.
Do you have an advice?
Best,
Bartek
