Notification Bar Pushes Web Pages Down

We have set our notification bar to “display immediately.” The bar displays great, but upon careful observation, we noticed it pushes our website page contents down for a fraction of a second when it loads. Therefore, when navigating from one page to another, pages do not load in a smooth, continuous fashion.

Have any of you experienced this issue? If so, what fix did you incorporate to ensure the bar displays immediately with all other website page contents? (e.g., CSS styling code, PHP snippet, etc.)

Hi @jetxpert,

As I explained in the email, this is because of the JavaScript loading. But I’ll see if it can be achieved through CSS.

Can you check whether you are receiving any JavaScript errors on the settings page?

Hi @syammohanm,

I did receive your email(s) — and replied. Can you retry to make sure everything is OK at your end? Our internal tests reveal our email system is OK.

In reply to your question, we checked our settings page and error console on Chrome, MS Edge, Firefox, and Opera. No issues. Your plugin is performing well.

Yes, it may be possible to get your bar to display at the same time our website does using CSS. Just not sure what code to use. Your plugin, as we see it, is performing as intended. If you need to test your changes under a staging environment, please let us know.

Do you have a website URL (or websites) you can share showing your bar displaying at the same time as the website it’s used in?
