    Hi there
I signed up to Google Adsense with one email address, and used Site Kit to add code to my website, AdSense account got approved… but then realized I had located the account in the wrong country, so had to cancel the AdSense account in order to create a new account based in the correct country.
Using a new email address I created a new AdSense account, deinstalled and reinstalled Site Kit from my website and then went through the process of getting Site Kit to add AdSense code to the site. From within WordPress Site Kit tells me code has been added. However in AdSense it says “code is missing or incomplete”.
I’m wondering whether an issue has been created by having added AdSense code twice to my website? Is there a way to remove the first instance of code Site Kit added (when I started the now cancelled AdSense account) so that the AdSense code is only there once, and doesn’t confuse things?
    Thanks for your help,
    Jane

From inspecting your site I can see only one AdSense account reference, with a Site Kit placed AdSense snippet. If you’d like to share your Site Health information I can confirm a successful snippet placement.

At present there is only one snippet. The other instance was removed already. As long as you have only one snippet placed on your site and both the site and AdSense account are in an approved status you are eligible for ads to be served. The product experts at the AdSense Help Center should be able to assist with AdSense specific queries.

James thanks so much for responding and so fast. Just shared the site health info. Are you able to tell whether the AdSense code that’s been placed relates to the now cancelled AdSense account attached to the gmail account, or to the new AdSense account I’m trying to set up using the shinyhappydoggy email address? Is it necessary to remove previous iterations of AdSense code (I never did that) or how does that happen? Would removing and reinstalling Site Kite have accomplished that (because that’s all I did)?

Thanks for sharing. Looking at your AdSense account status from your provided Site Health information it states “Pending”.

Unfortunately we don’t have access to your AdSense or gmail account, so I can’t confirm which AdSense account the current snippet relates to although you can check by logging into your AdSense account and clicking on “Account” before searching for your “Publisher ID”. We’re unable to troubleshoot or fast-track AdSense account issues from our side. I can however confirm that the plugin is configured correctly and ready to serve ads once your account is approved.

If you find your AdSense account review is taking longer than expected you can use the Help Center for support.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
