Hi,
Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.
This is how an include only filter works for a category:
https://adtribes.io/create-a-product-feed-for-one-specific-category/
Bear in mind though, you can only have one include only rule per feed configuration.
You can however have multiple exclude filters so you can exclude all categories by creating individual exclude rules per category. Have you tried doing so?

Aha OK I understand: I was using various include only rules.
Creating exclude rules per category will be more complicated as we have hundreds and only wanted a feed with 7 of them.
Have you thought about a simple checklist to tick categories to include? Or some other way around this?
We know its not optimal and the refactoring of the entire rules and filter feature is on our developers to-do list. Unfortunately its such a big part of our codebase that I do not expect this to be in anytime soon.

I understand ok.
Another thing: The google shopping categories are shown as ID in the feed.
Is it possible to include also the name?
Hi,
Unfortunately not, our plugin only adds categories as ID as those are the same for every country and accepted by Google.
i have a similar problem
only one include only (language)
and one category exclude
category exclusion although does not work
Hi Nick,
Are you sure your feed was refreshed after you added the exclude filter? Also make sure your feed is not being cached by a caching plugin or your browsers cache.
Hi,
Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons.
