    Major problem with version 2.7.3!

After updating to version 2.7.3 on any of my player_lists the player statistics were replaced with all zeros.

When I rolled back to version 2.7.2 the player_lists showed the proper player stats.

I am also using SportsPress for Baseball, version 1.0.2

    Hi @gcorrick ,

I am really sorry to hear that. Can you share some more info please?
    Do you use shortcodes?
Do you create Player Lists from SportsPress->Players->Player lists?
    Can you share some screenshots?

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    Savvas,

    Thanks for your prompt reply

Yes I use shortcodes to create the pages, and I use SportsPress->Players->Player lists.

Here is an example of the player list using SportsPress 2.7.3: https://snipboard.io/JensFt.jpg

Note that all the player statistics have gone to zeros.

And here is the same player list using SportsPress 2.7.2: https://snipboard.io/XCMehL.jpg

Here the player statistics are as they should be.

Thanks for your help on this problem.

Can you share also the shortcodes you use and the settings of your player lists?

    Thread Starter GCinAZ

    (@gcorrick)

The shortcode for that list is [player_list 15800]

The settings for the player lists are shown here: https://snipboard.io/ZlVaFE.jpg

15800 is the id of a Player List? What settings has that? You can find those settings in Edit Page of the Player List

I got that shortcode from the edit page of the Player List.

It most definitely is: [player_list 15800]

Why are you asking that question?

I am just trying to reproduce the issue so as to be able to find a solution 🙂
Is it possible to make a screenshot from the settings of this Player list?

    Thanks,

Are these the player list settings you want to see?

@gcorrick Thanks for the screenshot! I noticed that under “Team” you’ve selected “Current” – this should work, but in the last update there were some changes that filters stats based on the specific team that each player was on.

For troubleshooting, what happens if you change this to “All”?

    Thread Starter GCinAZ

    (@gcorrick)

Changing the “Current” setting to “All” seems to correct the problem.

I’m wondering why the changes to how stats are filtered was made in version 2.7.3 and whether this will be corrected in a new version?

Nevertheless, thanks very much for all the help on this problem!

    Hi @gcorrick ,

I think I found the root of this issue. Can you make the following change to your code and give some feedback please?
    https://github.com/ThemeBoy/SportsPress/commit/dfea672c4429c36140f263b943051878402f6839

    Savvas,

That change seems to work. If I change the “All” player list settings back to “Current” (see Brian’s post above”, the stats in the player list are as they were under version 2.7.2

    Thanks again for your help!

I am glad it worked. The patch will be included in the very next update.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Version 2.7.4 is out!
Fix – Player list data showing zeroes in some cases.
