Hi James. Thanks for replying. I’ve done that. Still blank each time. The only one that I cannot disable and see the “header/footer sections” is the Advanced Custom Fields PRO since the page uses custom fields. This is the message that I see (with the header/footer still visible): Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_field() in /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-content/themes/gemco/header.php:66 Stack trace: #0 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-includes/template.php(730): require_once() #1 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-includes/template.php(676): load_template(‘/home/gemconst/…’, true, Array) #2 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php(48): locate_template(Array, true, true, Array) #3 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-content/themes/gemco/page.php(1): get_header() #4 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-includes/template-loader.php(106): include(‘/home/gemconst/…’) #5 /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once(‘/home/gemconst/…’) #6 /home/gemconst/public_html/index.php(17): require(‘/home/gemconst/…’) #7 {main} thrown in /home/gemconst/public_html/wp-content/themes/gemco/header.php on line 66
If I create a new page from blank, the custom fields show up on the page but are not visible when I preview. If I create a clone and change the name, the custom fields on the form in editor update, but when I preview it, it shows the data from the original page that I used create a clone.
Ok, since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/support/
Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
Thanks SO much! I had no clue where to go to ask for help. I really, really, really appreciate it.
