Hi there,
Do you have full root access to your wordpress server or is it just a hosted instance with some kind of cpanel access?
If you have full root access, can you see if wplc.3cx.net and chatserver001.3cx.net are reachable? Also if you can provide me your website name/fqdn, i can do an inverse check from these servers and see if your site is reachable.
Also as a temporary fix, you can set the plugin to On-Premise mode. It will use your wordpress install as the chat server. Chat will be a bit slower in this mode and the ‘Typing’ function won’t work, but at least chat will work. You can do this from the Settings > Advanced Settings > Mode Selection area.
On-premise does not work either. Your servers are reachable, but I found out we are using cloudfare. A trace from outside stops on one of cloudservers.
Could we have a link to your site so we can take a look? We’ll also try replicating this using cloudflare as well.
We haven’t been able to reproduce this problem to be honest. This sounds like a connectivity issue between your site/server and the chat server at wplc.3cx.net, chatserver001.3cx.net and chatserver002.3cx.net
Keep in mind that these servers are hosted in Google Cloud and they are reachable by the vast majority of the world except from a few countries (North Korea etc).
