    Hello!

    I have added shortcode [tag_groups_tag_list] to a text block widget on the shop page sidebar.

    I am using plugin https://el.wordpress.org/plugins/hide-categories-on-shop-page/ to hide the uncategorized default category.

    The issue occuring is that when [tag_groups_tag_list] is present on shop page sidebar, the hidden uncategorized default category becomes visible!

    Is it possible to bypass that plugin conflict?

    I am definitly going to use Tag Groups plugin. Is there an alternative way to hide that uncategorized default category if conflict cannot be bypassed?

    At the very begging of the time, I used to use plugin hide uncategorized default category.
    Later on,
    I just change the name of uncategorized to something i need and also change the slug.

    My experience may help you.

    @pickme Please post a link to the page where it happens.

    Just to confirm:

    If Tag Groups is activated, but you don’t use the shortcode in the widget, then all is fine?

    Which taxonomies did you select in the Tag Groups settings? Please make sure there are not any categories, product categories etc.

    Hello Chris!

    Yes, when Tag Groups is activated and no shortcode is added to shop page sidebar text widget then, no problem, meaning, the hidden category set by https://el.wordpress.org/plugins/hide-categories-on-shop-page/ stays hidden as it should be. When I add the shortcode, the hidden category becomes visible. In addition, I have placed the woocommerce default product categories widget on single product sidebar as well, without the Tag Groups shortcode added to that single product sidebar, and the hidden category stays hidden, while on shop page sidebar with the tg shortcode, the hidden category is visible.

    On Tag Groups Taxonomies page I have checked only Product Tags (product_tag), no other checkboxes are checked (seen that by checking ‘show hierarchical taxonomies) and the shortcode I have used is this:
    [tag_groups_tag_list column_count=1 keep_together=0 include=1 orderby=slug]
