    Hi,

    No matter my settings, i still get “in stock” for all products in my google shopping feed.

    “<g:availability>in stock</g:availability>
    <g:availability_>in stock</g:availability_>”

    I tried changing “g:availability” from “availability” to “Stock [quantity]”, no difference. I also tried adding a filter “if stock is less than 1 – Availability: out of stock”. Also didnt work

    What is the problem? Im running shopping ads for products that are out of stock 🙁

  • Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the availability in your feed.

    For starters it seems like you added the availability field mapping twice. Could you remove one?

    When you use the default availability field mappings, this one:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/d0142efoo1rrtb1/availability-mapping-1.png?dl=0

    The plugin will take this value:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/z8mypusum4dd3mx/availabilit-2.png?dl=0

    That really should work.

    Hi,

    It is not added twice, i can send a screenshot of field mappings over email if needed.

    I am using the default mapping again

    Best Regards

    Hi,

    Would you be so kind as to share the plugin debug.log with us? It will help us understand how you have configured your feed.

    Hi,

    How can i share it without it being public?

    Best Regards

    I am afraid that’s not possible on this forum. Since you are using the free plugin we are not allowed to forward you to our email support (wordpress guidelines).

    Could you share the link here?

    Hi,

    hmm.. let me see what i can do about that. But the logs shows normal configuration as per creating a feed (standard, no edits to fields). However It seems the feed isnt updated properly. No product is marked “out of stock” in the feed, and some google categories doesnt match what is set inte the category mapping.

    For example one category is mapped to google category 191, but shows as 5123 in the feed.

    Would it help reinstalling the plugin? I would rather not categorize everything again though..

    No re-installing will not make any difference as most likely this is either a misconfiguration issue of the feed or indeed an issue with caching or your WP-cron which causes the feed not to update.

    Hi,

    I have somehow managed to get the stock working by refreshing the feed and clearing caches. So now that is working fine

    However, the problem with category mapping still persists.

    [16] => Array
    (
    [rowCount] => 16
    [categoryId] => 16
    [criteria] => Armband (Man)
    [map_to_category] => 191 – Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry > Bracelets
    )

    From the debug log

    <item>
    <g:id>*****</g:id>
    <g:title>****</g:title>
    <g:description>****</g:description>
    <g:link>*****?dTribesID=e6c58e45f9c2784a32631c530cfb8f0f|adtribes|4148&utm_source=Google%20Shopping&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=4148</g:link>
    <g:image_link>*****</g:image_link>
    <g:price>SEK 129.00</g:price>
    <g:google_product_category>5123</g:google_product_category>
    <g:condition>New</g:condition>
    <g:availability>out of stock</g:availability>
    <g:sale_price>129.00</g:sale_price>
    <g:identifier_exists>no</g:identifier_exists>
    </item>

    From the feed for a product in that category.

    What could be the issue here?

    Hi,

    Good to hear you managed to solve the issue with the availability field.

    With regards to your google product category question: most likely that product sits in multiple WooCommerce categories?

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

    Hi,

    Im still working on this. The products are only in 1 category that is mapped correctly. Neither does it have a parent category that is mapped differently

    Just found one more that is mapped completely wrong, from mapping “196 – Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry > Necklaces” in the plugin, it ends up in “Electronics > Communications > Telephony > Mobile Phone Accessories” in merchant

    I have opened the .xml generated by plugin, and they are not in specified category in it. I cant see any issues on the product/category level and i have re-saved both product and whole category. Trying to clear transients etc and refreshing feed now

    Thread Starter nikeri

    (@nikeri)

    done but no change. i have also tried removing category mapping from some categories and refreshed feed, however the mapping doesnt disappear in the .xml

    Any ideas?
