Hi, did you follow the instructions posted by the developer in the forum post you shared above?

    Yes. Precisely.

If you don’t mind, can you share with me what you did?

For example: I carried out a test and I edited the PHP file “addon” created by the developer and edited the file by adding only two countries of my choice. Then I checked the country list and only the two countries I entered in the PHP file was displayed. Is this what you did?

    Thank you

    1. Uploaded plugin as-is. Worked like a charm. Only the 4-5 countries he had listed in his plugin appeared. (Albania, etc.)

    2. Changed the list of countries to CA and US exactly as instructed. Uploaded the new PHP file via FTP and overwrote the one on the server. But all the countries showed up this time.

    3. So I deleted and deactivated the plugin. Reuploaded and reactivated the plugin (mine), and still nothing happened.

    4. Cleared all caches, tried private browser, switched browsers, etc. Still nothing.

    5. So I repeated steps 3 and 4, reuploaded the original plugin just to troubleshoot to see if the original plugin still works and if it was something to do with my variation. But now even the original plugin doesn’t work.

    6. I tried uploading the country autodetect plugin to see if it would detect my country (Canada). Plugin settings show up fine in the dashboard, it’s live and active.

    And THAT doesn’t work, either.

Hi, try the following steps. Deactivate all other plugins excepts ours and the addon. Then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

Stripe Payments and Limit Countries only enabled.

    No dice. Still doesn’t work.

I’m going to push the live site to staging and try different themes. Will report back.

Hi, sorry but I am out of ideas. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate this issue further.

    Kind regards

    Hi Michel.

You must use current testing version as explained in this post: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/available-country-list/#post-12841717

Programmatic support for this has been added to testing version. You can get it by going to WP Dashboard -> Stripe Payments -> Settings, right side column.

    (@drsuccess)

    Yup. Still doesn’t work.

    Thank you.

The reason I mentioned testing version is because the link you provided in “The page I need help with” leads to a page with version 2.0.30. But looks like testing version is installed on your staging site, which is good.

Can you paste your PHP code somewhere? Like https://pastebin.com/?

    Thank you.

Looks like we have the worst case scenario called “works for me” https://prnt.sc/t95xqr

Let me make a few more tests and get back to you.

    Thank you so much.

If it helps, I can give you access to the staging environment admin.
