I know the issue. I’ll try to solve it. Hopefully is not a show stopper for now.
Hi,
Nah, not a showstopper as its a given that just the ‘section(s)’ being configured will be looped within the post archive its being used on unless something is broken, so its just cosmetic. It shows fine on the front end, but it just takes a bit longer to visually ensure what I’m seeing on the back-end is correct on the front-end, so I work with 2 windows.
So, behind this question, recently, there was a update that showed a ‘grid’ across the bottom. I understand what its for, however, is there a way to control that ‘preview’ section? My thought would be to allow the user to change the ‘preview’ within the actual working canvas. A good representation would be how Crocoblock has done their implementation of creating the listing/loop page. I can send ya screenshots if you haven’t seen this.
From the ‘Preview Settings’ area, it would be good to maybe provide tools to show how man across the bottom, and a ‘preview’ width along with honoring the ‘Page Layout’
Thank you!

Please do. I haven’t seen it. Generally this was the idea, but it took to much and left it half baked. I’ll get back to it and make it better.
Here’s a screenshot of the settings page for a Crocoblock listing.

A hybrid of what you have plus these options would be just stellar!
Thanks! I was expecting something more than I had in my head.
Well, my all means, go with what you were planning. I just think the features there would be good from a design perspective. It does have a front end functionality feature in that you can make the whole thing clickable in the same panel, but I don’t agree that should go there. It should only be ‘preview’ changeable items in that panel IMO.
