    Hi,

I created a couple of loops a few weeks ago. Worked like a charm. But all of a sudden when creating or editing a loop I get the message
“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

This is only true for loop templates. Archives, singles, everything else works.

Do you have any idea how this can be fixed?

the_content is set at my post.php. Do I need another php file to make the loops work again?

    Kind regards

In theme builder do you have a single template that has this this display condition? I’ve put a screenshot where to look at the link I’ve sent you.

Oh wait, you mean in the backend in the theme builder?

Yeah there is no template that has display conditions set to “all singular”.

    edit:
I did find a section type template though which also has the same error. But archives, singles etc work fine

Have you added a post content hook or installed new plugins lately?

I am pretty sure there are post content hooks but all of them were there before I insalled ele custom skin. this was the latest plugin I installed. And it worked perfectly so far. I only updated the wp core and all my plugins so far.

I’ll reproduce it on my side with all single to see if I can fix it like that. Assuming that the problems are related.

For quicker communication I’ll advice you to go to Github and open an issue there also.

I tested all my themes php files and actualy did find one which conflicted with post.php.

No issue any longer on that end so far.

Thank you so much fpr your help. If I need more help I come to github.
